Default max boost

When I rebuilg my block this winter what is the max boost that I can run. I have a vortech now running 9#'s. The block will be completely forged pistons thru crank. The S/C is the sq-2

there is no actual boost limit. its the hp limit you have to watch out for. if your still running the stock block, your limited on the hp you can make. they can break anywhere from 400rwhp to 550rwhp and higher then that is a guarrenty it will split

if its not the stock block, run as much as you want

yeah. your block will probably be able to handle more boost than your blower can give. you just have to worry about snapping an axel or your tranny going bye bye before your built bottom end.

Yeah I was more concerned with what the max limit of the blower would be. I plan to do the botom end and the trans next winter. Maybe a viper-spec 6 speed. I think about 600hp to the tires will be enough for me.

it's never enough. you'll be saying 800 will be good next year.
