Default quick nitrous ????

Im runnign a 100 dry shot with just 1 step cold plugs... I put 94 octane in it and it seems to run pretty good... Is this safe to run and also should i mix a little cam 2 gas in there to get me octane a little higher or is it fine.????

It all depends on where you have your timing set. I have a tune for my 100 wet shot that runs fine on 93 octane. When I go to the strip I usually add 2-3 gallons of 100 octane racing gas just to be sure, but the tune I had made for the 93 works great. It is all about where the timing is set when you shoot the gas.

well stock is a pretty relative term.

if your at 10* your fine.

if your at 12* and it's cool out, your probably still fine.

i sprayed once at 14* and 75 jets, it ran great, but it was about 70* out and good air.

also make sure your plugs gapped down, somewhere around .035-.040"

next time i'll read that part. lol

anyways, yeah your fine, the 5.0's were notorious for timing all over the place from the factory.
but to adjust yours, you need something like this.
