I'm buying for vortech v-2 off a guy and he said it will fit a 01-04, I have a 2000 gt, wont it fit it too? On Vortech's site they make a supercharger for the 00-04. I'm thinking it will fit mine because there really isnt any difference between the years right? Also what lbs injectors should I get? It is non intercooled and I'm only going to run at about 6psi for now

it should fit, i would get 42s as well in case you start wanting more boost, which you will.

all 96-04 GT vortech head units are universal for 96-04. you will need a mounting bracket if the blower was for a mid 00-04 and you have an early 00 or 99. same goes with 96-98. the brackets (with belt and everything) from vortech is $299 and $279 from superchargersonline.com

You just need the mounting brackets for your year. Like Nanaki said. Upgrade your fuel, ignition, and cooling systems before installing or at the same time. Prevent unwanted occurances.

Another difference on the kits was the MAF/IAT sensor. On the later kits you needed a new IAT because in the 01-04 cars the IAT was located inside the MAF.

If you have a seperate IAT you are fine. You will need to relocate the IAT after the supercharger.

If you do not have a seperate IAT you will need to remove the wires for the IAT from the MAF connector and install a seperate IAT.
