Default Xpipe?

I have flowmasters on my stang, and I was thinking about an Xpipe but will that make it quieter? or louder? I want it louder or just to stay the same.... I was thinking about the SLP Loudmouth Exhasut and selling the flows but i dunno... would an Xpipe be cheaper and give me the same results as the SLP?

Lot and Lots and Lots of them. Should be more then enough info. If you've got the stock mid-pipe with cats and you're going with an off-road X then it will def be louder.

Have no worries. I have the xpipe on mine and it sounds great. Some people tell you that an Xpipe and flows will sound like sh*t but never listen to the ignorant. I think you will b very pleased. Although if you are going from an offroad Hpipe to an Xpipe it will be quieter. Let me know what happens.

what about using the X pipe with SLP loudmouth? I'm not sure what setup I want, the flows are too quiet for me sometimes, I want people to STARE when I cruise by, and I want my car to growl when I downshift.... but most of all I want top performance, I guess I shold search to see which gives more HP

if you want loud, get long tubes and on off road mid pipe, and ditch the flows for a straight thru muffler

straight through will give you the most noise, I personally do not like SLP, use to be a good company start going down hill, then no more F-bodies, now getting in all over the place. The loud mouth is a little too raspy for my taste.

I like my maganpack system. I went to a friend's beach house the other weekend, had to go down the strip to get there. My friend with his STi and another with a Grand Am said everytime I moved people walking by would turn around and they heard a couple of "HOLY SH*T"s. It's loud and will get louder, thinking off an off road x-pipe and long tubes, they think it is loud now.

If I am cruising and deck it to 5 grand lift off the throttle and let the motor slow the car, it pops like crazy till about 2500. Brings a grin to my face everytime.

I miss the reactions I got with my Magnaflows...lol

Dude, how do you plan on passing emissions in our state? Will you just swap out your off-road x-pipe for something legal for inspection?

Ditch the flow****ters, get an X pipe and some straight through mufflers.

Those are the ones I want, are those considered straight through pipes or no because of the curve in the pipe. I don't know much about exhaust systems but I konw what I like as in sound. My bf has the SLP on his Vette and I LOVE the sound, its incredible! SLP also sells an X pipe, check it out and see what you think, the Xpipe link is below. I want to get the best for the least amount of money so putting long tubes on my car and then going with all that other stuff sounds expensive, but if you guys have a good setup let me know and how much it cost.
