Xpipe?
You got it Dan02, half an hour and you got a legal car, and one bad a$$ sounding car any other time. Not that it doesn't sound bad a$$ now
.WOW!!! that'a lot of money for an catless x-pipe and a cat-back!!!! Magnaflow sounds better and is less money then the SLP. At one point in time SLP made good stuff, as the years wore on F-body owners became increasling disappointed with them and the quality, F-body go bye bye, SLP needs new markets. I have heard the SLP and was not impressed. It was loud, but raspy. To much for me. But as all exhaust argumets go, it comes down to what you want. I know when i had my civic I went through 3 exhuast before I was happy with the sound, 600 dollars a piece adds up! I have only gotten one for the mustang, but am toying with the idea of an off road x pipe as stated earlier.

what about using the X pipe with SLP loudmouth? I'm not sure what setup I want, the flows are too quiet for me sometimes, I want people to STARE when I cruise by, and I want my car to growl when I downshift.... but most of all I want top performance, I guess I shold search to see which gives more HP

What he said...I agree
Redevil,
I just purchased a MRT catted h-pipe with the SLP loudmouth for my '04 cobra...still waiting for the h-pipe...it's been almost two weeks...but I'll let you know how it sounds and the ease of installation...the price was $479 for the SLP....I'm hoping it sounds as good as your b/f vette....the SLP would be considered a straight through design since the mufflers are actually resonators that allow the exhaust gases to flow straight through into the tailpipes unlike regular mufflers that have chambers and baffles that reduce sound and the exhaust gas flow...straight through would equal more power and louder sound...good luck with your stang...

If you go back a couple pages in this topic there was alot of discussions over this.. and there were some dyno graphs for x and h pipes
