On a modified engine shorties or long tubes
This is what I have ---- 306 dss short block 10-1 comp, afr 185s, 1.6 rockers, holley systemaxII intake, anderson motorsport N 41 cam a little bit bigger than f cam, cold air, c&l 73 mam, 75mm throttle body, 255lph walboro fuel pump and I have shorties on it right now with off road H-pipe and flows I would like to pickup another 20 hp if possible so Iwas thinking to go with a prochamber from mac and long tubes???? any other ideas???? and I also have underdrives and electric fan Right now I'm at 300 hp 306 torque just looking for 20hp more thanx

I dont know about making 20 extra horspower just through headers but they would definatly be a help.Mac, BBK, or Hooker supercompetition headers would be what I would go with. If I were you when you get the long tube headers make sure they are ceramic coated.

LTs always are a better choice, so long as you can fit them into your car. I know that putting LTs on my 2000 GT was a complete bitch when it came time to tighten the bolts.

you guys read that article in MM&FF they dyno tested long tubes vs shorties and there was only a difference of a few hp so the only real difference is sound
