i was thinking about buying a new GT but i want a supercharger and a warranty. so i was thinkin about see if i could get ford to install their supercharger like on the cobra so it would not void the warranty. if they could do that would i need to do anything else to some other stock parts so it could handle a supercharger or would it be fine.

how much are you looking to spend? you can get cobras real cheap these days

 

It will never happen in a million years, infact if you went to the dealer and asked that, they would laugh in your face. Save yourself the humiliation of asking and please...don't

 

Buy a used Cobra with low miles. There are plenty to be had!

 

i dont want to buy a used cobra because you dont know what the other owner did to it while they had it plus i want the new car warranty. i am looking to spend around 28000 and i know a salesman that can cut me a cobra loose for 34000 but i dont know if i want to spend that much.

Never going to get a warranty with a supercharger installed. You have a point about the cobra since it's a flat out performance car so people tend to drive them hard, you just have to be real careful. If you find some used ones take it to a garage you trust and have them check it out for you. Or you can spend a little bit more money wait and get a 05 GT with 300hp.
