I believe the MAF is before the SC like line. The filter is in the wheel well.... and then the MAF is after. Am I correct guys?

It's probably down in the passenger side fender well connected
to the air filter.

I saw your other post about the intercooler.... Are you going to switch to a BlowThru or keep your DrawThru as is?

If your going to use a BOV... you need a completely new MAF. Need a BlowTru... we have a Drawthru

actually you can probably have it recalibrated to be a blow through. but for the money, you're better off getting a new one. i was just looking at PMAS's website, they made a really nice looking blowthrough. its $300, but can handle over 1000hp.

don't put a BOV on your system until you get a blowthrough maf. you're asking for your engine to run like crap, if you do.

and you probably can't just relocate it. wait for the tuning guys to chime in, i think you need to retune with a new MAF. i always have, but my MAF changes have revolved around mods that required tuning anyways... so i'm not sure. better safe than sorry.

EDIT: that novi sure makes for a nice looking installation. and the engine bay in general looks nice! wait until the horsepower bug really sinks its teeth in. you'll have wires and hoses running every which direction one day i might try to organize things in there..

i just took a peep at the filter and sure as **** the maf is right on the end of it, the filter actually attaches to it, which is just ridiculous, very poorly designed. I guess im going to have to get a blowthrough, an extra 300 dollars i didnt want to spend, but i am just dying to hear my mustang with a blow off. now, when everyone says retune, do you guys mean just a simple tune like thru a handheld or take it into the dyno shop and dyno again and go through all that nonsense?

oh, i just noticed you said it might be able to be recalibrate, how so and what is involved, cuz if it saves me 300 bucks, then hell yea

actually, thats not a horrible place for a draw through. it all comes down to accuracy. its a pain to get to, but it's able to meter the air more accurately there, than if the air has to go through bends in the tubing first.

http://www.massairsystems.com/recalibration_sheet.htm

go to that site. they have info on recalibrating. before doing anything though, i'd give them a call or email, and make sure they can do what you need them to do. probably can send them that picture to even better help. i really have no idea what they do to recalibrate, or if they can convert yours from draw to blowthrough. its worth asking though.

what BOV are you installing?
