ALRIGHTY...so I finally got everything installed...switches aren't mounted yet, cuz I'm gettin an ashtray switch panel beginning of next week... I even got the bottle filled... and cleared the lines. I'm completely ready to use it...I'm actually gonna be headin to the track tonight hopin for some good results (Only running a 75 shot for alittle while) The only thing that isn't hooked up now is my purge..for some reason...it doesn't purge at all...the kit didn't come with directions on how to hook it up...so I just used some common sense and that didn't work either lol.... but anyways...Could ya'll inform me on how to hook up an NX purge kit? directions or just a simple explanation... Thanks guys!!!

And a special thanks to Nitrous_bob and Hung like a stang for all the help and crap that you got me through... Thanks!!!!!!

heres a great website with directions, just click on purge valves and the directions will come up with adobe reader, and also if you want some pics let me know wasnt sure if you meant the wiring or where the braided lines go. good luck. http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Instructions/main.htm

didn't check the link but i'm sure it's good info

you want the purge selonoid b4 the main selonoids or it won't have nitrous in the line

then it hooks up like the arm switch, but it's just a momentary....the feed line will hook right up to the purge selonoid, then out of it into the main selonoids

What type of solenoids are you running? The older solenoids will be installed like bob said. I didn't click the link, but the universal instructions that come in the NX manual show the style of diagram for these solenoids. The problem is, Lightning solenoids (carbon fiber over a billet aluminum base) are the current manufacture. They require a different install. The purge will be hooked up to the opposite side of the nitrous solenoid from the feed line. The purge line will come out of the bottom of the purge solenoid and the far side of the purge will be plugged. The nitrous feed line will enter the side of the nitrous solenoid and exit to the system out the bottom of the nitrous solenoid.

If your solenoids are black/blue, black/red they are this style. These should have been the ones if you bought new. If the solenoids are silver then they are the other design and the pruge goes in front. These were probably what you got if you bought used. The Lightning solenoids were optional for awhile but just became standard in March.

dude, I ****in messed with my purge for hours going back through wiring, trying to figure it out. It turns out it was the ****in brand new switch the whole time, if you have a back up switch to try wiring it to just to troubleshoot, I'd do that.
