When do you get full boost??
I was wondering for all you guys with centrifugal superchargers, about what rpm do you see full boost?? What rpm do you really start to feel that extra kick coming in??
PS I know I wrote this in the 4.6 forum, I meant to put it in here and will happily delete the other if someone could tell me how

I dont "feel" a kick in the *** until around 4700, and I try to shift at about 5400 which comes really quick once boost starts coming. The next thing I am doing as soon as I buy a DD, I am putting on an intercooler and a 3.30 pulley so that I will hit 10psi at about 5400 (atleast thats what I hope will happen) because I dont like the idea of having to rev so high to get power. Right now if I juggle just right and watch the boost gauge and shift from sound I think I usually hit about 8psi when I shift. I've seen it hit 11psi without smacking the rev limiter. But that might be the gauge?
nah. you're going to start building boost around the same time as us. 3000rpm, give or take a couple hundred. it doesn't really give you that kick in the pants feeling to later in the powerband, since you build boost the higher your engine revs.
