Do you need to have a tune with 6psi of boost?

 

do you want your engine to blow up?

 

you can get away with no tune if you run an fmu (not a smart thing to do) and run the msd btm box (id set it to take 2* of timing out per pound of boost)

if you do this tho you will never see the full potential of your sc because your afr wont be right and youll be running very low timing

 

Putting on a s/c and not getting it tuned is very unwise. You either blow up your engine or end up with a setup running well below its potential.
