Is it possible to get by with out an intercooler on a paxton novi 2000? 1998 mustang GT

yes. get it tuned properly. i was running 10psi non-cooled for a year with no problems.

The novi 2000 should run 8 - 10 PSI. So if the engine is running okay (not burning oil or anything) and the tune is good, you should be okay.

Thanks one more question can you put an after market cold air intake on with the super charger?

 

yes and no. a standard cai wont work. they do make intakes for sc called a power pipe (afm makes it) or boostmaster pipe (upr makes it). its a 4" pipe that runs from the sc to inner fender. it allows the sc to make 1-2psi more boost without a pulley change and also, allows the sc go suck up cold air from the inner fender
