I am going to be running shorty headers and off-road H pipe. What would be the best cat back system to run to get performance and bad *** sound?

well, first off, if you havent already bought the shorty headers, dont get them. but to answer your question, magnapacks

Definitely go with magnaflow. My friend has the magnapack catback on his 02 GT and it sounds bad a$$. In my opinion it sounds better than flowmaster, and performance wise it's alot better also.

Go Magnaflow and loose the H pipe...only if you want sound

X is better for performance, but H is better for sound. And I agree with nomocobra, if you haven't got the headers yet get long tube. As for your cat-back I also say go with Magnaflow. I have them on my car and I ran into this guy with a 97 GT who had them with an off road midpipe (can't remember if it was H or X) that sounded badass.

yes, depending upon what brand long tubes you get, they will make a matching shorty mid pipe.
