I know a 100 hp shot from nx is 100rwhp. And a 100hp shot from most other companys is 100 crank hp. Does that mean nx kits are putting more nitrous into your engine than a 100 hp shot from some one else,??? So really a 100 nx shot would be like a 125 shot from like nos or cold fusion or zex..??

 

the number is just an estimate. a 100shot doesnt guarrenty 100hp on any car.

Yes. NX rates at rwhp. Their jetting for a given shot size could be larger to someone else's jetting depending on brand.

I'll post a link to an independant nozzle test. As you can see, given equal jetting the NX Shark nozzle (which is the smaller NX nozzle), it tied for the least amount of nitrous used of all those tested. It came in 4th place behind Dynotune, TNT and the bigger NX SHO nozzle. It was within 4rwhp of 1st place. On the other hand, given equal jetting, it beat some nozzles like the NOS black by 30rwhp and NOS silver by 15rwhp.

On the second test when jetting was altered to level the a/f ratios, the NX Shark again used the least amount of nitrous, took 3rd behind the big NX SHO and the TNT nozzle. It was 1rwhp from taking 2nd behind it's big brother. On the other end of the spectrum, it made 34rwhp more than the NOS black and 11rwhp more than the NOS silver.

So NX will make more power 100 shot vs. 100 shot and more power than a huge majority given equal jetting or equal a/f.
