75 shot with speed density

Default 75 shot with speed density

ok guys i want to run a 75 shot dry kit. but the car still has speed density system is it okay to run a 75 shot on this or is it risky. The car has gt40 heads, new upper and lower intake, c.a.i., underdrive pulleys, 65mm throttle body, full exhaust, headers. what do you guys think

yeah its no different than running it on a maf car because its not metered, the kit comes with the proper equipment that raises fuel pressure when your spraying

I heard though that the speed density system is only good for about 325hp though is this true or not

It has nothing to do with HP, it has to do with changing the manifold vacuum (changing cams, heads, etc.) that causes speed density equipped vehicles problems.

Well its already got Gt40 heads on it and it runs fine, oh and btw can someone tell what hp advantage those heads give you and what the gt40 motor is? Also, so running a 75 shot is no problem, then so if you get a maf do you get more horsepower or is it just the change it so they can do cams and stuff like that

GT 40 heads were the heads used on the 93 Cobra, maybe the 94 & 95 Im not sure - and the GT 40's are not much better than stock so they wouldn't really change your drivability much. Cams are the major thing to be concerned of. I'd say you picked up in the neighborhood of 15 hp or so with the head swap.
