say i was in low gear reved up to 2K or so and wanted to spray 100 shot of nitrous right off the line with some good drag slicks on my car and everything else is stock would this damage the engine or tranny doing it this way? or should i pick up some speed first then hit it? i was wanting to lower et times and 0to60 so i was thinking about doing this

 

dont do it off the line. do it in second and 3rd gear. off the line your gonna put too much stress on your drivetrain. i think its worth the patience. if u push it in second your 0-60 should drop. not by much tho

 

I don't have as much problem with doing it off the line as I do using it below 3000rpm. If it were on a window switch, I'd leave on it.

 

well he has a cobra so his drivetrain should be a bit stronger. but i figure **** lol you get through 1st fast enough as it is. so jus go and spray in ur power gears. pull hard through 2nd and 3rd and your 1/4 should drop by a good amount

 

put a window switch on it. that way its not spraying right off the line but really close to it

 

Just flip your switch when you get past 3k, thats what I do.
