Default X-pipe w/ flowmasters?? yes or no?

I have an 02 GT and I currently just have flowmaster 40 series on it. I want to get some pipes but and I've heard a Bassani x-pipe will sound pretty sick. Any suggestions?

i got an '03 gt vert with a mac o/r X-pipe into 40 series. sounds good, but i'm actually getting a lot of back pressure. i'm buying an SCT Xcal II tomorrow from brenspeed. hopefully it will cure the problem. i only get the pressure when the RPMs are coming down and i'm not on the gas. when i'm on the gas, it sounds sick!!!

I currently have a Bassani X-pipe with the Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back system which has Super 40 series mufflers. i am happy with the sound, alot smoother than the H-pipe I had before. If you like the throaty muscle car sound go with an h-pipe.

i've heard that x-pipes are higher pitched than the low rumble of an h-pipe. i've heard both and have to agree.

I prefer H pipes with chembered mufs, but thats just me. And JCstang01, I hope you dont think that H pipes are raspier than X pipes. o/r X and flows equals rasp city. o/r H and flows equals= throaty, growl.

Your right, throaty maybe a better word to describe the rougher sound of an H-pipe as compared to an X-pipe.
