Default RE: headers

I have BBK and i think they are great. I dont know about the headers being the last think to do cause they arent worth it. For the the headers were great, from 3k-5500k my car pullls ALOT harder, plus it sounds good..

ORIGINAL: Emanpimpsterive got a steeda cai, magnaflow x pipe and magnapack catback and sct xcal2 and im about to get an accufab 75mm tb&plenum and underdrives. Im runnin out of bolt ons to do and i dont want to waste my money on shorties and i kinda dont want to do gears.
I am in this position and am not going to pay $500. plus $350. for installation for what...possibly a tenth and a half? It's a 281c.i. motor. My catted X-pipe and catback probably only took off a tenth. A set of NGK TR55 platinums did that! I believe my mod list is complete. Stock I did 14.42 @ 96 and now I have done 13.95 @ 102. Now I have enough power where even my 315/35's aren't enough and a fair 60'(2.10) would give me a 13.75 1/4.
I'm waiting for a decent intake to come out. Even the HPS seems decent but I would like some more facts on it. www.hiperformancesolutions.com I believe. mark

I've heard bad thinks about the quality, fit and finish of MAC lts. You get what you paid for. My BBK ceramic coated lts were a little less than 500 and they fit perfectly, no issues except the head flanges had weld splatter, which I cleaned up pretty easily with a dremel.
I concur. The Macs have an amazing sound, once on the car, but install is a pain from what I hear. I also have heard that the flanges are very bad. BBK is the way to go IMO.
