What size is the bottle? How big are the jets? How long as the solenoids open?

Asking how many passes you can get out of a bottle of nitrous is like asking how many drinks of water you can take from a bottle until it's empty. How big is the bottle? How big are the "gulps?" How long does each one last?

I normally get about 8 runs out of a 10lb. bottle @100 shot. That is spraying from the beginning of third to the end. I do fill up regularly so I always have some go fast juice in the bottle when I need it.

the tune should retard your timing a bit for the nitrous so yes running on a nitrous tune will make you run a bit slower N/A. But not much. If you dont retard your timing for the nitrous it could hurt your engine.

i don't use colder plugs , i'm jetted for 80 and get about 10 full passes. newer cars can benefit from a flipswitch , that way you don't have to be a slug NA

foxbodies just can use a msd dial and dial the timing whenever needed from your seat.

i spray right out of the hole, keep my bottle hot at all times, (cold bottle waste a lot of nitrous)

i usually fill up when i have 3 lbs left.

the rule of thumb is that with 100 shot jets you will use 1 lb of nitrous for every 10 seconds you are spraying. I can get around 7 passes before my pressure starts to drop.
