hey i got an 06 mustang gt and i was thinkin about gettin a borla catback exhaust, does anyone have any experiences with borla? good or bad?

 

Borla generally makes a very high quality kit, however they are know to produce some of the quieter kits on the market. If you want something a little bit louder, look into a Magnaflow exhaust.

 

he could go with the borla stingers. those are definately louder than the magnaflows

 

i had the guy who owned the car before me put a borla aftercat on and before i hydroplaned, every chevy friend i had said it was the quietest mustang they have ever heard...but it sounds good at 6K rpm. its not my style but has a quiet idle with a light rumble if its your style

 

I like the borla catbacks. Theyr quiet unless you really get on them, and they give great performance. If you want somthing super loud this isnt the kit for you.

 

thanks alot everyone, good to knwo because im lookin to get an exhaust with a deep, loud, and aggressive tone, even when idling.

 

I was looking for the same sound and went for the borla stingers. They are perfect and not so loud you will be harrassed by police, neighbors, etc...

 

You get what you pay for but they are expensive
