a few q's about nitrous
i bought a 88 lx 5.0 5 speed and they guy gave me a 10lb bottle, feed line, and wat appears to be a blue regualor of some sort mounted in between two solenoids the solenoids say "16020 NOS super powershot" on them. It appears to be a dry set up to me but I am completyl dumb to nitrous. Is there anything else i need to get a complete set up that i can get installed. Ill try to get a picture if that would help any

RE: a few q's about nitrous
Depends on how big of a shot you have there.
But You should go get a full throttle switch, the arming switch thing.
And if it's only a small shot get a purge valve so you always get the full hit.
Retard the timing i think it's 1 degree for every 50 HP
and get some colder plugs

Dont expect much help on Nitrous from this forum these days, best to call the manufacturer or try another forum. Dry kits work fine on 5.0 cars cause their capable of increasing fuel pressure from the line to the Throttle position sensor to match the N20 increase. All kits are pretty much WOT activated or I would not use, go lean go boom, dry does well on 5.0 will not work on 4.6 without risk otherwise very safe, easy fun HP, but I am no expert, check with the pros!

best bet is to trash what the dude gave you a buy a new kit sounds like you have a solenoid for 50 to 175hp, feed line and bottle, there are a few items missing from what you have right now all you have is a paper weight

Actually, I think that's the kit I have
16020
If it is, the solenoid is rated for 75-150HP
All depends on what size your jet is, to find this out unscrew the line from the nozzle if its going in from before the TB
and pull out the goldish colored piece
and read me off those numbers that are on it
