Default Difference in SQ and S Trim.

Sorry for the pretty stupid question, but like the title says, what is the main difference?

SQ is the queit gear drive right? So is the S-Trim the normal loud as hell or what?

Thanks!

both the v1s and v2sq are the "s" trim which flow 1000 cfm, the difference is that the v1 has the straight cut gears which is louder than the sq. they both boost to 20 psi, up to 680 hp. There is no just "s" trim model. hope this helps

The S has a different impeller design than the SQ, and is louder. The SQ is still fairly loud at idle.

I was told by the shop that the SQ will make SLIGHTLY (very small difference) more power than the S. The SQ is the newer design.
