ok i have a 2004 GT. the charcoal grey color. bone stock except new tires, flowmasters and tint. it is getting a turbonetics t66 put on it right now. it is a custom kit where they are starting with the headers, cutting the flanges and bending the pipe. thats not the problem. the thing im worried about is, how long will my engine last. and tranny! i've read that the stock block is good for about 500 horses. i am only going to be pushing 8-10 lbs. for now. internals?!?! they said it will be good for about 450 to the wheels. how long will it last. oh yeah and spec stage two clutch is getting thrown in. i also am picking up an apexi electronic boost controller to help tune everything up. what do you guys think? i need some input!!!

 

Your tranny and block should hold up fine at 8lbs. Once you push past 450 rwhp, you are playing with fire. Just make sure your not dumping the clutch at every stop light.

 

thats good to hear. what about internals? or anything else thats liable to go. oh yeah and im looking for some gauges so pm if anyone is selling some.

 

i dump my clutch at every other red light ![8D]and all ive done is make my tires bald
