Default FITTING THE EXHAUST

hey yall. im thinking about putting some flows on my 89 gt but i was wondering what the difference was between the exhaust system that is specifically designed for the lx versus the ones that are for the gt models. can you still put the lx exhaust system on a gt and just cut off a piece on the gt rear bumper for the pipe to go through or how can this be done.i don't want catbacks and want straight pipes coming out of the back. how can i do this??? any advice would help greatly. thanks.

a catback is what your talking about buying. its all the exhaust after the cats.

anyways, the only difference is the gt tips turn down so they wont hit the bumper. yes you can just cut the bumper and make the lx tips fit
