i have a vortech supercharger w/ no intercooler can i and how hard would it be to buy a intercooler from maybe another company or their "aftercooler" and install it? would it be worth it? if so couldnt i maybe run more boost, or will i get a boost increase just because it is much cooler air?

 

i don't belive you will get more boost...but defanitly cooler air which is alot better...

If you a a Vortech kit without an Intercooler or aftercooler then you might need different piping if you buy just an intercooler

 

you'll loose alittle boost with an inter/aftercooler but cooler is better and hp will increase
