catback with magnapacks
Hey all,
Im pretty new to this forum, I have read forums on magnapacks on here and listened to some and i think im sold on them. I just bought a stock 02 gt and want to start some mods that my pocket book can handle. I want to get headers, x pipe, and catbacks.
Well i was thinking of just starting with catback magnapacks and using stock h pipe and headers for now. Will this still sound mean? Will i gain anything in power? Eventually i will put on an x pipe and headers. I live in canada and this shop is only a few hours away. Does this sound like a reasonable price?

Also what is stock tips size on a 2002 gt? Im away from my car for 2 weeks so i cant measure right yet.lol

It will defanitly sound alot better and meaner...but once you get that stock H-pipe off and replace it with X-pipe it will open it up ALOT more...the price looks decent, just look around as much as possible to compare pricing...about power, it will add some power but not much...if you got some long tube headers with the X-pipe and catback that would add alot more to it

DAMN!!! $620.00 if you live in Canada??? You need to jump the border and buy one here. Thats TOO much for the catback. But if installed you will gain 10-15 hp and magnapacks sound awsome.
Not sure if you know but the headers and the X pipe need to be bought and nstalled at the same time because you have to have a shorty pipe for the long tube headers. Just a little advice.

Yea but if i only put on catbacks right now i can still add either a reg length/ small x pipe and shorties / long tubes eh?
And yes after the catbacks i will get an x pipe and headers at the same time. Will this catback system require welding? Or is it a direct bolt in? The pipes are 2.5" will that fit onto my stock H pipe for now?

yes it is a direct bolt in, and yes it will fit your stock h pipe, and those magnapacks sound MEAN!!!!
