Is there a big difference in power between ceramic coated headers and just regular stainless steel ones?

 

no the coating is to extend the life and look of the headers not for power

 

huh? ceramic coating was also designed to help remove the heat faster from the
engine,and around it....less heat means more power.

 

sure it helps keep the engine bay cooler, but the gains are minimal at best. nothing you could feel I can assure you. you certainly will pickup 1 or 2 ponies - maybe - but I've never actually seen it on paper

 

well it is convenient,especially when checking plugs after a run.
yeah it's not going to great hp#'s,but it will be consistant.
i wish i had mine coated....they are 1yr old and starting to rust!

 

mine are too its all good though cause I got em used on the cheapness

 

i paid $250 new...mac's....after i was done it looked like i dragged them down the street.

does your's magnify your internal's i.e. your valvetrain? mine are okay,just distracts me sometimes

 

Yeah the ceramic is nice if you are willing to spend the extra penny. Decreases the heat in the engine bay and increases airflow in the piping because the heat is contained. Like joe said though, you probably will gain like .25 of a horsepower...
