They other day, a bright idea flashed through my head just wondering if its been done ar if it would even work.

Basically i wondered if the intercooler could be adapted to be hooked up to the A/C compressor (wich would have to be upgraded to a high rpm version of course) so that it would cool the incoming air.

 

I've never seen this done. Seems to me like nobody made one due to the power lose from the AC compressor on.

 

Too much trouble for what its worth. You can go with meth injection, Nitrous spray bars and Air to Water intercoolers if you are having problems with Intake Air Temps.

I'm sure it could be done but unless you convert the A/C to a non-belt driven system you would be fighting against yourself.
