would there be a significant difference in sound if i were to put dual exhausts on my V6 but they were no name exhausts and not like flowmasters?

Do you mean like changing from your stock single exhaust to an aftermarket dual exhaust setup?If so,yes there will be a significant change in your exhaust sound.

yeah im changing it to dual exhausts, but its not flowmasters...and i have been told if its not flowmasters then it wont sound as good.

yeah the exhausts i am putting on are glass pacs. ever heard of em?

yea mycousin has them on his v6 camero and its no slp or flowmasters but they sound good and definitely louder.

not to burst your bubble..but IMO glasspacks on a v6 dualed out are going to sound terrible. I dont think you'll be happy with them.All they will do is pop and crackle when you let off the gas. http:// w w w.3.8mustang.com/multimedia/

the only reason i am getting them is because they are $300 cheaper than getting flowmasters....is it worth getting flowmasters for that much more?

Yes, glass packs are the worst mufflers you can buy. Get something like flowmaster, magnaflow or borla. You will be much happier.

really? i just don't want to pay $500 to get dual exhausts put on there...although i do want good sounding pipes on it.
