kb non intercooled

would it be worth getting the non intercooled kb or the procharger kit with intercooler. money is a factor here. jjst looking for best deal. would eventually buy the intercooler when i get back off deployment. what u think? o4 gt

Personally it depends on what kind of driving you prefer, their totally different blowers with different personalities. Whatever you do don't let an intercooler sway your decision because you can always add one later. Just think of the intercooler as an extra 30hp and make your decision there.

yeah well im not quite sure what i want i was just reading the kb non ic with 6psi put down like high 200 whp range. well i take down the 1/8 prolly a few times and u know when someone pulls up next to me on the highway or open road i wouldnt liked to be embarrassed if u know what i mean. i want something with all around power if that is possible i will have 373 gears. well thanks

as a generalization, kb will give you more power EVERYWHERE, whereas something like Procharger or Vortech will give you more hp in the higher rpm range over a kb but waaaaay less down low around 2500 rpm. If you want the most hp possible and don't mind winding the car out then a centrifugal is for you. If you dont mind giving up a few ponies to have horsepower everywhere then a KB is for you.

since u do more daily driving than track driving i strongly recommend a kb. u get instant boost whenever u want it. the power in low rpm's will make it feel like u have a 460 and not a 4.6
