Is it a bad idea to get a used supercharger from ebay? Also i noticed a lot of mustangs on ebay with supercharger say "new engine 5000 miles ago." wtf?

supercharger + not getting the a/f and timing tuned = BOOM! with the proper tune a supercharged motor (with reasonable boost levels) will usually last just as long as the stock motor.

oh yea... my supercharger was bought used also

Find a good tuner that has a Dyno. That is the safest way to do it. Almost everyone that has a returnless modular car is using the SCT software and having great luck with it. Its ALL in the tune.

Check out dude's performance. They are not to far from Chicago (It's in Streamwood or Schamburg) and they do dyno tunes.

having the a/f unit plugged to the chip you can dail it in yourselve..you'll be close and that will be in the real world not in a controlled area
