shortys are a joke!!! if you really want headers go with long tubes!! my pro tunner told me all headers are a waste of money,all they do is make noise and drive you nuts going down the road with there drone ing sound,, hay, buy a tunner,thats where the ponys are.

Ok, on this subject, can someone tell me the best course of action in this situation:

My passenger side header bolt broke while replacing the clutch. What the shop did was weld it back on and put the exhaust back together that way. The problem I'm facing now is if I want to take the tranny out again (and I do), I have to worry about that bolt again. After my Vortech, I'll do exhaust. Would it be better to just get an exhaust that goes from the engine all the way to the tail pipes and do it all at once? If so, should I do long tubes and what else do I need to put some SLP LMII's on there?

 

longtubes FTW... blow threw muffs will yeild more hp and less tq, and vice versa for chambered muffs, i prefer chambered

 

i put my long tubes on cuz shop said 700 dollars labor .. i said suck my d--- i will do it my self..
wish i would have give them 700 dollars any ways what i know now is take the k-member off put headers on and then put k-member back on.. it is so much easier..guy that tunned my car said .. "i can't believe you did that with out taking the k-member out"..3 days the first time would have been 2 days but after the first day i had to take the second day off.[:'(]and day 3 was a bitch **** *****...any ways it is music to my ears... now... i will buy kooks headers next time....
