the loudmouth 1s were actually good too. they're just super duper loud, but they're also very deep. no raspiness. the 2s however, they're even deeper than 1s and any other mufflers i've heard. they're also LOUD. not as loud as loudmouth 1s, but still louder than packs. haven't heard them with the stock midpipe, only with my catted X. i highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a deep & loud catback. Acer will even agree. he's had magnaflows, flowmasters and now loudmouths.

One more ques – can you adjust the sound of 2’s by swapping out the muffler/resonators as per their advertisement below?

yeah, you can. unfortunately i had the first models of Loudmouth 1s when i got my catback, which had the mufflers welded in from the factory. just get the LM2 catback and buy some LM1 mufflers. kinda upset that i can't put my old ones on whenever i want. oh well. i <3 the 2s now. i miss the uber loudness of the LM1s, but these still turn just as many heads.

Also, I see that LMPerformance (http://www.lmperformance.com/c/7/50.html) has both I's & II's on sale for $359, but is charging $30 for shipping on the II’s??? I'd prefer the II’s but can’t see why they are charging for shipping on one and not the other. Is there anywhere else selling II’s for $359 with free shipping?

Acer! Dave!.. T-Minus 2 hours till SLP II Install!.. UPS Delivered them to the shop today.. going down to install em after work.. I mighteven put 25 SLP Stickers on my hood to make my car have the extra 23 RWHP they provide! Gotta love stickers~
