Default couple things

Im gonna start working on my blower setup now. i only wanna put about 350 to the wheels for now until i can get around to forging the motor and stuff like that (which will be a ways off). what size injectors will i need for 350rwhp? what am i going to need besides the blower piping/mounting, head unit, fuel pump, injectors, and a tune? guy at work said i might need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

and a guy my buddy works with is awnting to sell me some LT headers for 80 bucks and i got a guy that just left my shop with a LT header h pipe in his garage he said he'd sell me for 50 bucks. i just read on another post with the mach1 u gotta take the LT's back out to drop the tranny, would that be the case with me too? im gonna have to throw in a new clutch before i put the blower on (it wont last long after the blower so i might as well get it out of the way now). so would it be wiser to wait and install the LT's and clutch at the same time or can i throw the lts on now (i got a 3 day weekend comming up and some friends that can help...i dont think any of them have done a LT header install and neither have i but we can turn wrenches and well figure it out) then drop the tranny later to put a clutch in without worrying about the lts getting in the way?

thanks

Ok, for 350 hp, you'll need at least 30# injectors and you'll be pushing the limits of those. Those are what I went with because I got a good deal on them, but I can't go much higher than 350 with them. If you have the money, get the 42# injectors and call it a day. You need a new MAF as well, so get the 90mm lightening. I have the 80mm lightening and again, it'll work, but I can't go any higher. As for the fuel pressure regulator, I'm not sure but you do need a new fuel pump. You have a non return style system, so you can do the Focus 255 lph pump and be ok. They're faily inexpensive.

And I know nothing about the LT headers or the tranny drop. I do know if you want to replace the clutch and are thinking about a spec, MAKE SURE you replace the Throw Out Bearing and Bearing Retainer with one from FRPP. Do not under any circumstances use the one provided in the Spec kit.

I might be able to help you on the 42 # injectors. I just swapped mine for 75# in search of +600 with programmable EFI. My 42's only have 1200 miles on them. How does $250 sound for all 8?

I personally believe that 350-370 to the wheels in the safe limit for stock internal motors, for daily drivers who like to beat on the car and not worry about it
