procharger D1SC vs. KB 2.6l
im currently in iraq and im wondering which of these kits to purchase...their both around the same price and they both are neck and neck when it comes to power...anyone with some firsthand experience enlighten me here...

the D-1 will destroy the kB... it has higher hp potential, its going to get better gas mileage (not by much), its going to cost about the same (less if you get a good deal). 1/4 times and street racing will be better with the d-1 in a race, the kb would get the jump and the d-1 would reel it in (quickly) and they blow it away.. the kb is argueably more reliable in a daily driver sense, but in the real world its not any more or less. The Kb will feel faster.. and be fckn fast, but more speed for dolla will come from the d-1 at equal power levels

procharger. centrifugal has better high end power, whereas the KB will give you more torque throughout the entire rpm range. It won't be quite as noticeable up top like the procharger will.

they all make power up top
it's just that the twin screw's have or build boost faster (instant almost).depends what are your hp goals?
i believe that kb will max around 700rwhp

I dont think you have a real world knowledge of this subject (and n20 also [8D])
but the centri will make more top end power, and do it longer and better.. the twin screw can not turn as many rpms as the centri can... and most of those 700 rwhp cobras with KBs and whipples are running race gas and spray... (my friend has one in my driveway right now.. 3.4 whipple, 03 cobra, when tuned at 24lbs and race gas w/ 50 shot (dry
) he put down 730... on street tune (18 lbs) he makes about 575 give or take
