purging can be fun, I have an ashtray switch in my car

+1. Cool set up bighungrymatt. So to purge, you hit the armed switch, and then you flip the purge switch for the amount of time you want to purge?

Ok. Matt, is your NX set up a plate kit or is it like the other style or what?

Hopefully in the next week or two I will be ordering my nitrous kit. For now I am leaning towards the NX 2V plate kit for about $575 shipped from American Muscle.

 

NX wet plate is the way to go on a budget, ZEX or venom direct port if got some change

 

a button comes w/ purge kits, or a momentary toggle, but usually a button

youdon't need to arm the kit, since the purge selonoid is B4 the nitrous selonoid. the bottle needs to be on is all, then hit the button. and you could squirt all 10 lbs if you wanted

the kits i have had:

NOS5115 dry kit jetted at 75 on my '89 notch 5-speed N/A= 13.20's //// n2o= 12.50's
zex dry jetted for 100 hp on a '90 lx 'vert auto on street tires N/A=15.10 /// n2o = 13.60's
NOS5115 dry kiton my '93 notch 5-speed N/A = 13.80's /// n2o = 12.80's

never had a reason to go wet cuz i never squirt more than 125, last 10 years w/ 3 diff kits on diff cars....not 1 single problem

+1 window switch is a waste , just be smart about it

 

I dont have a window switch on my car... I have the shark nozzle right before my TB

 

What would be the effects if I armed the nitrous while the car was under throttle, like during the run in like second or third gear?

Also, anyone know of a better place to get these 99-04 mustang cup holder nitrous switches?:
