so i've decided that i'm going to run nitrous in my '02 GT. i've got minor bolt-ons (cat-back, cai, tb, plenum) and an SCT XCal2 tuner that allows me to advance/retard the timing and adjust a/f as well. i've read up a bit about nitrous systems on here and have decided to go with the NX EFI plate system, along with a window switch and bottle warmer. any other recommendations on what i should order to go along with this kit? also, what shot would be safe with my stock internals? i'd like to do a 100 or 125 if possible.

i've also heard some people talk about running nitrous AND a supercharger.. is it safe to run the 2 together? i'm not planning on an s/c any time soon, but in the future i plan on a complete rebuild with all forged internals, ported heads, and some hotter cams, and i'm wondering if i can run nitrous along with a supercharger. thanks in advance for your help.

NX is a great kit i have it on my 05 gt. 100 shot would be safe to go with. Along with the bottle warmer make sure you get a blowdown tube kit you will need that if you plan on running your car at any track. All the toys for any nitrous kit make the system run better but you dont " NEED " them but they are nice to have .

 

Great pick with the plate system[sm=smiley20.gif]. you should be good to run a 125 if you retard the timming and get sum colder plugs.(NGK TR6 is what Id recommend) I would get a purge system while your at it since your gonna want one ne way. not only do they look hella cool, but they serve a purpose. IMHO,I would get the digital window switch if your gonna get one. like 10 bucks more and no pills to worry about. with that you should be good

yes you can run both of them, no sin iin that, howeevr you have to have the motor to handle it. but ys you can do it.

EDIT: nevermind, i enlarged the pic and can see the "pills" you're talking about (similar to the plug-ins on the MSD rev limiter)

MSD has a digital window switch it goes for like 115 bucks which is 20 bucks more than thier "pill" window switch
