Default has anyone gutted their stock cats?

if so, how much HP do you think you would gain. or would i be better off just buying an o/r X

i doubt youd get much of anything from that...buy an x-pipe if your looking for a litle better performance.

the mac prochamber is supposed to sound awesome, www.macperformance.com but you can often find them on ebay for less.

why pay that much, your just paying for a name on it. Go to www.uprproducts.com or www.mustangtuning.com and just get one of theirs, they work just as well as any big name midpipe.

Yea they are pretty cheap, do they sound good too? Also do i need the MIL eliminators to get rid of the "check engine" light??

I just took two of my cats out and gutted the other two, i did notice a BIT more power but mot much, it does sound a lot meaner tho!!
