Default TURBO 5.0

ok, im just starting to dive into turbo's and F/I, and i've got a junkyard build im working on. the block is a 91 5.0, and was wondering what you guys think would be the best turbo/ turbo's for this. i know the block is a time bomb over 500rwhp even as low as 450rwhp. im mostly looking for massive torque ~520rwtq+ and hp i want ~425-500rwhp. so help me out guys.

2 places you really dont want to go cheap on a turbo build

the turbo
and the wastegate.

Diesel turbos work sometimes, but arent always the right size

Turbo sizing and a/r are CRITICAL

Junkyard build recommendation

stock 302
Ford Racing "F" cam - good turbo cam for what it is.
BBK shorty headers flipped ( dont use Ford Racing or stock, they will crack )
Treadstone $300-400 intercooler.
Master Power T-70 turbo - apx $625 www.bgturbokits.com sells them
2.5" crossover
3.5" downpipe.
38mm Tial wastegate - apx $225

Just copy the layout of some of the kit makers as far as pipe routing.

16 guage mild steel tubing.

Some may already know but im runnin the t70 on a stock block and i couldnt be happier. i have almost all of what r barn said except i got the flowmaster 2-into-1 to the turbo, turbonetics race wastegate hooked up to their VBC (variable boost controller) (these 2 are made to work together, and believe me, they work great). now dont forget to upgrade your fuel system, i got #42 injectors, upgraded MAF, adjustable regulators, and a handheld tuner. i know im forgetting something. but im puttin down 437 at the back wheels (just got dynod) at 8 psi. it was funny seeing the guys reaction to the #s from a ratty lookin bronco.

consider that not all john deere turbo's are the same size & on top of that consider that the 5.4 that he had not only had more cid, but also turned an extra 1k more rpm. so it would require a bigger turbo.
