what does everyone think about this? i am thinking someone decided to make a hair dryer fit onto your intake and say it made a difference lol. or is this even some what legit

i found it funny as hell that there r a ton of these BS intake supercharges, your buying an expensive hairdryer that your gonna bolt on your car lol the really funny part is read the feadback on these things and ppl actually say they "feel" the power gain.

1. Doesn't produce enough cfm for your car so no assisting
2. tolerences are too low & the impeller wont spin fast enough to produce boost pressure. Air easily gets back out.
3. no car battery driven electric supercharger is going to work. car batteries can't release energy fast enough. There are electric superchargers that do work, but they're powered by capacitors that can be recharged at home or by your alternator if you have a high enough output one. I believe the highest psi one is 9psi. It's good for some 15 second bursts (which is more than enough)
The actual ones are a good alternative when you consider there's no parasitic losses & no turbine in your exhaust to reduce power. No nitrous bottle refills either.
