Default Chips?

So I have my blower on the way. Picked up the Procharger P1SC with 42 lb injectors and the MAF, however, its coming with out the chip so I need to get one. Any recommendations on what I should buy or what I should look at buying and why? Goinf on my 2000 GT and I will be running 10lbs boost. I have no idea where to even start with good/bad/etc. Thanks.

you should buy an SCT X-Cal (or other tuner) and have it professionally dyno tuned

To be honest, I've had zero experience with anything other than an X-Cal, so I can't speak for any other tuners out there. I got the X-Cal2 because it's what came with my Mongoose kit from MPH. You'll find that most dyno people are SCT dealers, it's one of the most popular tuners if not the most. Their website sctflash.com has tons of discussion forums and they have good tech support. Hopefully some Diablosport guys will chime in too.

I'm not too sure what exactly they tune on the technical end, but I know they advance the timing and increase your air/fuel ratio in different rpm ranges. Again hopefully someone else will add.

Thanks! Good site.

I was told that the tuner that came with the procharger is crap, and since the s/c i got doesnt include it, i figured I would try to find out which one I should get. I assume that the X-Cals can be used with any S/C? In other words, no matter what s/c you end up getting, all the tuners will be compatible, just needs to be installed!
