Ok since I cant afford a cobra I want something that can run with them. Im thinking of a supercharged stroker but Im not very knowledgeable about specific things. First of I want around 450-500 rwhp. Here is what Im thinking, please tell me if this will work.

331 stroker
AFR185 heads
e-cam
electric fan
BBK longtubes
o/r x-pipe
flowmaster 40's
42lb injectors
190 fuel pump with KB boost a pump
Msd ignition
KB 2.2L

Here is where it gets me messed up. I know you have to run lower compression with higher boost but how much boost would I have to run to acheive the above number and what would the compression have to be at. This car is also going to be run on pump gas. Any opinions are greatly appreciated, thanks. p.s. the KB will be the 2.2L Blowzilla with the GT-40 lower funno if it makes a difference

Well, I can't provide you with too much information regarding your boost question, but I do recommend that you rethink your cam choice. I know that the e cam is a "good" blower cam, but if you are going to drop the kinda coin that you are talking about, I would get a custom cam from Ed Curtis or someone like that. A good came can make all the difference.

Its not really an e-cam its actually a lunati with the same specs and the only reason im using it is because I already have it. The whole story is a friend of mine back home had this car he was in the process of rebuilding the engine, got married had a kid so now he doesnt have the time or money for it. It already has a 5-lug conversion, and clear headlights, and a UPR shifter and new clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster. The engine is bored .030 over and has probe forged pistons with the afformentioned cam. Thats the only reason I was gonna use it, its brand new Id hate to have to buy something when I dont have to. Anyhow the guy is selling it to me for $2000 all it actually needs to run is heads so.
