nitrous plugs
search function wasnt working for me so.....i needa go one step colder plugs for the nitrous but i dont know how to decode the part numbers. ive heard NGK tr6's and autolite 24's but can someone give me a link or a item number
how much are you spraying? for 100 and under i use stock plugs, just close the gap up to about .042"
anyways, at the parts store... just tell them that
autolite 24's, or tell them your moto and you want 1 step colder.
but for small jetting, it's overkill... not a necessity

I ran NGK tr 55's gapped to .40" with a 125 shot with no problem.....like nitrous bob said just gap them to around .40" and it will be ok. I laid rubber for about 50 feet with a 125 shot today!!! Worked great.

But I use NGK's and the letters determine the plug type 14 or 18mm, tapered seat or gasketed, thread reach etc.
The number is the heat range, higher number= colder plug.
7 is one range colder than 6, 8 is one range colder than 7 and so on......
Simple huh.
I'm currently running NGK9's in my car (very cold plug).
But I'm running a 14:1 comp. and a 300 shot with Cam2 110 octane fuel.

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
Solenoids need to be rebuilt every so often, additives in the fuel cause the rubber seals to swell up and makes for sticky operation. The high pressuresthat the nitrous solenoids operate under can also wreak havoc with your system so they need rebuilding too!

i run an ngk br7ef, the difference in power between one heat range is not signifcant at all and a little extra insurance doesn't hurt
full bolt ons, longtubes and 150 shot
