So, I, going to get a set of electric cut outs. Where would be the best place within the exhaust to put them. I heard that back in the day, guys would paint the exhaust white and let the car run and the spot that burns the paint off the quickest is where they should go. Reasoning is because thats where the most pressure and heat are getting built up and looking to escape. In theory this make sense. Has anyone else heard of that or any other theories that work or have worked. Or how do you guys know where to mount them? Thanks in advance!

 

Performance gains for cutouts are minimal save you money and spend it elsewhere.
