MAF pegging
I just got the dyno sheet and im only making 290whp/311 tq. According to my tunner (which i trust) the problem is my 90mm lmaf. Its pegging. My set up isblowthrough. It was sugested to me to buy a MAF IA to use with the 90mm lmaf and to buy an o/r pipe and catbacks. Also, to buy a different pulley because the one that i have, it was made for non intercooled, therefore; im only making 6psi. After all that, my car should be making alot more hp. Are any of you guys using the MAF IA with the LMAF in a blow through?
Couple questions.wHAT KIND OF BLOWER YOU RUNNING ??your numbers are a tad low. You need your original stock pullies or you will loose boost. Im suprised no one told you that. Im using SCT big air 2400. More than enough on your set/up. As for exhaust, you will max your hp out with full exhaust 30-40 hp w/ LT, midpipe and a good catback. ARe you a auto or stick.
You should be somewhere in the 330-340 w/ a auto and 350-360 with a stick running 6 lbs max. Your loosing most of your boost due to your after market pullies, IM sure 1.5 to 2 lbs.
Lastly, running non intercooled will force your tuner to retard your timing which will loose HP by itself. SO get your stock pullies back on and get some exhaust and Im sure you will be in the 340-350 range. haVE FUN CARLOS.

Go to the VMP tuning Thread on this site. Ask Justin (owner/Tuner) and He will tell u. They sell the HPX mass air system. (tube and Mass air, They also have the Mafia)
EDIT: I read ur HP numbers Wrong... ur 100whp off probably. Ur Lightning MAF shouldnt be Pegging yet:

According to my chart, you're not anywhere even remotely close to the cfm required to max that meter. Hard to tell what the problem is though without knowing how it was setup or the tune.
2psi pressure drop is quite a bit at that low of a psi, but I believe one of the major companies made their intercoolers flow bad on purpose to keep the air in the core longer for cooler air. I'm fairly certain that it was procharger, don't quote me on that. But it was designed for around a 2-3psi loss at a moderate boost pressure.
Are you sure you have the maf hooked up right?

The only thing that i can think of is that there is turbulance by the maf because i have it connected from a 3" pipe to a reducer sleeve from 3" to Whatever size the 90mm maf is. Here are a couple of pics.
