92 5.0 hatchback. And never seen a supercharger in my life. But want a good HP increase on my good old fox.

i've heard that gettin a powerdyne is a big no no lol..but i dont have any first hand experience with them

 

I would skip both of those options. Powedynes are junk blowers(bad bearings and internal belt). Vortech's are good blowers but that particular blower had been in a wreck so I would stay clear from that one. Corral.net has a good set of used superchargers under their classified section. That's where I bought my supercharger from. Plus their prices are pretty reasonable. You can find some good deals

 

i got my first blower from a wrecked GT. of course, i got to inspect it and have a shop inspect it before i bough it though.....

 

I got my used Saleen from Brenspeed's recycle store on ebay. Anybody else and I'm not sure I would have purchased it off of ebay.
