I have a basically stock Saleen S-281 with underdrive pulleys. I was told i need to swap the alternator, crank, and water pump pulleys back to stock to enable the supercharger to work properly.

is this true?

water pump & alternator pulleys have nothing to do with the supercharger. The diameter of the crank pulley and the diameter of the s/c pulley do. The bigger the crank pulley the faster the impeller will spin with means more psi (up to the trim's limit) likewise, the smaller the s/c pulley the higher the speed.

alright thanks.. That sounds more logical.

If I were to just swap my crank pulley back to stock, would my alternator and water pump still work correctly or the way that they should?

all you have to do is replace the crank pulley

actually you have to change the crank and the water pump pulleys because the water pump pulley on the u/d's is so big it will hit the stock size crank pulley on the 4.6's
