seems pricey for the HP numbers they are advertising. most kits at that price advertise 650hp+

I have torn down a 1989 5.0 that has 351 heads from World Products, some unknown cam, roller tappets and rockers, Trickflow Intake, no cats, and 2.5 inch all the way back, 24 lb injectors, Stock TB, no chip. It put out 220 on the chassis dyno, and I ran this 1989 GT convertible for 2 years, it was a tireburner for sure. Loud and lots of fun. too slow.

I just bought a 1990 car, with HP stage one turbo kit, and AEM engine computer, It is a 4 lug stock car.

I have 5 lug, 8.8 rear, and big brakes to donate to the 1990 car from the old 1989 car.

What do I do to the engine to make it last under the pressure. What cam should I put in it. what throttle body, can I get rid of the water jacketed spacer on the TB, ect. ect.

HP performance, the turbo supplier, says keep the engine stock. and keep the boost under 10psi. Limit it to less than 500 hp or it will blow up for sure.

They also say don't put in forged internals because the block will break before the stock internals do. It is just a waste of money.

Need help.

Thanks,
Scott
