i need more power for my 289. its got a .30 overbore on it and about 6,000 miles on it. other than that its bone stock. even has got a 2 barrel on it. what all that doesnt cost that much money can i do to get more power? and no i dont want nitrous and i dont want to super charge the thing</P>

4 bbl &amp; intake, longtube headers, free flowing exhaust, different cam, diff. ratio rockers...bam!!!!! plenty more power!!!!!

Oh man, that's what I LOVE about the older cars!! It's so cheap to upgrade! If you go with those upgrades, it will feel like an entirely different machine, and you'll be spinnin' your wheels all over town...just don't get hurt!

I have a 289 with edelbrock performer RPM package, but holley carb I have over 400 hp in my 65 mustang
