mrtstang-thanks for your input! i will look into it! i just remember reading somwhere that an xpipe sounds more raspy (maybe thats with chambered mufflers? im not sure)

may look into a high flow catted H or X pipe and some straight through mufflers!

jw-will def. look into that! never heard the sound of the violator mufflers

I am selling my 2000 GT auto stang to a buddy of mine in order to pick up a 2002+ 5spd GT or 2001 cobra! so i may have a little money to play with!

 

jwog666 and 03svt i check out both those set ups on youtube, and WOW OMG i may just get either one of those!!

only bad thing is my county in ohio is one of the few that require emissions tests, now its a not a huge problem changing the pipes out every year or so... also doesnt pypes have the removable cat or something??

 

the pypes catted x or h are emissions compatable, so you shouldnt have to worry.

how would the sound of a high flow catted H or X compare to a O/R H or X pipe?
